Far and away the two most useful features are the adjustable built in length dial which negates any freestanding length accessories, and the vacuum, which does appear to be strong than the one on the former model.
I have tested a few other trimmer before (re) purchasing this one, but they either came with half a pound of extra accessories, the blade turned dull on them actual fast or the rechargeable electric battery died in just a couple of months (despite charging it as per instructions guide).

The additional size of it is apparently needed for the inner vacuum. This vacuum "works" in that it doesn't permit hairs fall to the sink. But they turn constantly clogged inside the apparatus ; you 're never going to have them cleaned out, even after opening the slight plastic cover. The vacuum besides adds to the noise. And my razor doesn't feature a vacuum, so I 'm going to have to clean up hair.
One ill for this new edition is that the plastic trimming collector for the vacuum can not be taken as in the other model. This is a minor issue, but I consider the removable trimming container was soft to clean.
There are two other still more expensive models, one is the T1000, which holds a liquid mimetic-adhesive liquid metal skin and can shapeshift and copy and kill the user it comes in contact with, the other is the the T980, which has an even fancier body and exacted to have "turbo ability" for those who need the best gadget. In my opinion this T780 does a great job now, and I am just as happy with it now as I was a few years back.
The convenience, reliableness (I owned the early one for at least 3 yrs), and performance of this trimmer is far above the other brands.
(Keep off the deadly T1000, they went a bit too far with the technology!) .
